Hannes
Gierke

Hannes studied Pharmacy at the University of Greifswald. He got to know the Gastronauts for the first time as an undergraduate student. For the practical work of his Diploma thesis, Hannes stayed for six months at the University of Texas in Austin. After receiving his Diploma degree and the license to practice pharmacy, he joined the group in 2019.

 

His PhD project covers following aspects:

• Characterization of gastric conditions in the rat

• Development and validation of an in vitro model for the rat stomach
