Regine studied Pharmacy at the University of Greifswald.  For her diploma project on gastro-retentive dosage forms, she firstly joined the Gastronauts for 6 months. After receiving her Diploma degree and the license to practise pharmacy, Regine re-joined the Gastronauts in 2017. 

 

Her PhD project covers the following aspects:

• biorelevant in vitro simulation
  of the ascending colon

• impact of colonic microbiota on drug pharmacokinetics
